Dear Friends and Partners;

December 15., AFC ministered two morning services in a church and at an an outdoor event at the Berry Street Park of Forth Worth, Texas to underpriviledged kids later that afternoon. That night AFC ministered at The Children's Haven, a shelter for kids whose parents are either in jail or incapable of taking care of them. 80 people were saved that day. What an exhilarating experience! So, let me say thank you for your financial support, encouragement and prayers.

AFC put on a play at a Church in Fort Worth, Texas. The director approved the actors I chose for the performance. One of our actors, Ashley, who is excited about her newfound faith and her renewal in acting was approached at a rehearsal and told "we do not wear earrings or rings in our church and the makeup has to go. Ashley was upset and ran out of the church confused and feeling like she just did not measure up. We went after her. I told her that this is not Chrisianity, it is the shortcomings of people. The Pastor asked her to forgive us and told her that he has reached most of the people in the church but obviously not all of them, and then apologized to her. Ashley told me that she is determined to learn the right way and the next day we did the performance. It was moving and powerful. The most powerful thing we can do is realize that God changes people, not us. Many people came over to us, especially to her and complimented the performance and said how nice it was to have her there. They couldn't seem to say enough. I thought to myself, they realize they acted wrong. We have a great opportunity to minister effectively to those who either do not know the Lord or who are just coming in. There are people who need us to befriend them. Let's face it, if we do not open our arms to those who are in need, the devil will have bigger arms to open. "Who, at his fireside, can realize the distress of shipwrecked mariners?"  (Noah Webster)

There are many shipwrecked people. Instead of pointing our finger at people, we must reach out to them. After all, how will we learn, except from each others example. When Jesus called Peter to come to Him walking on the water and Peter fell, Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and lifted him up from the peril he faced. Matthew 14:31 In verse 33 it says, "Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, of a truth thou art the Son of God." Let us be more sensitive to each other.

Actors For Christ is reaching out to many people and teaching world evangelism. Starting January 2001, we will be teaching acting to the kids at The Children's Haven. They will learn the Word through this process. If you would like to become a financial supporter of this work, we thank you in advance.

But if our gospel be hid it is hid to them that are lost. II Cor. 4:3
